All about the post Concert Dance company

The mission of the Post Concert Dance Company is twofold: to provide a performing ensemble which approaches as closely as possible the conditions of a working professional dance company, and to present dynamic new choreography and historically important legacy works that affirm dance as vital and relevant to our diverse global society. PCDC provides intensive training in a range of dance techniques and styles. 

The company encourages students to explore the future of their art through opportunities to work with cutting-edge choreographers from the New York and the international scene in an annual showcase presented every year at the Symphony Space at Broadway in New York City, a well-known venue for dance. PCDC encourages students to explore the possibilities of their art through choreography and production in more than 10 concerts a year. Student choreographers present their preparation and research to the company at the beginning of each semester and show their work in informal concerts throughout the semester, culminating in fully produced productions at the end of every semester.
